Buying New Caravan

Hi, I am picking up my first caravan on 16th after paying a deposit at the weekend. I am buying from a reputable dealer.

Would you still advise paying for the CRiS check for £17.95?

Also it was sold as 2014 but the 10th letter of the VIN is a 'F' which would suggest 2015?

    The F denotes the model year, which usually begins Aug/Sept of the year before so F = 2015 but quite possibly sold new in the Autumn of 2014......

    But if 18 quid gives you peace of mind..........?

    Do you buy a secondhand car without an HPI check or equivalent?
