Awning leaking from awning rail

Hi all

Has anyone had problems with an awning leaking in from awning rail, never experienced this before, but this is a new awning I bought recently?

  I had some leaks on a new awning.  It's OK now. Sometimes the stitching has to swell up a bit before it is fully water tight.

  Normal on a new awning. Stitching needs to swell with the wet which seals up the stitch holes and then it's watertight
