Sutton Bridge Maintenance

A few weeks back we were held up for an hour as the bridge was down to one lane.  Does anyone know if the works are still ongoing?  Off to Derbyshire in a few days and do not want a repeat.

    I think the works end 1st/2nd July

    A quick Google search shows a number of threads on this subject. Highways Agency web site is also a good source of information.

    We came through yesterday from Nottinghamshire and works were still ongoing. The delay heading to Kings Lynn was approx 40mins but the queue heading from was horrendous, we’ll be looking at an alternative way home

    That's all I need to know.....we won't be going that way.  A17 via Peterborough it is.
