Alko 3004 tow hitch
Hi I have an also 3004 tow hitch fixed to my lunar clubman. Unfortunately on my last trip the alko hitch pad wear indicators have broken off I am aware you can purchase these for £1.50 each however I have no idea how to fit them. I spoke to my service garage and they said I don’t need to replace them. Does anyone know if this is correct or know how to fit them?

I had the pads replaced and was charged 30 minutes labour! After that I watched a youtube video which shows how easy it is and takes perhaps 5 minutes or less?

but the OP says it's the indicators ... not the pads themselves

That is the indicator that shows the hitch is correctly in place, not the wear indicator for the pads.
