has anybody added the greystons spring assistors, to the rear suspension on their towing vehicle,  and if so did it improve the ride while towing, and stops the bounce you get without.  thanks in advance.

Any spring assister can only increase ride height under load, thereby preventing the suspension from bottoming out under adverse conditions, but they cannot dampen vertical bounce. Only heavier duty dampers (shock absorbers) can do that. Springs don't have any inherent dampening properties.

If you are getting bounce as you drive is your weight ratio to car right?

Is there something loose in the van - moving back and forwards?

indeed is the nose-weight right for your tow vehicle?

Other than the above why does your caravan bounce the tow car?

redface i collected the van it was empty,  its not bouncing just get a feeling whilst driving,  the car can tow 2000kg and caravan max weight is 1465, so within limit, not towed for 4 years so forgot what its like with caravan on back. i had a passat years in 1984 and i think it had greystons fitted on rears and didnt feel van on back and never handled differently when not towing,  might change shocks for those mad ones which varies compression.

But the OP’s problem is not one of sagging, but one of bouncing.
