Day three, been a really good race so far. Lots of new names coming to the fore. Great breakaway and stay away win tonight by a very happy and excited Belgian, Taco Van De Hoorn.

Yes indeed. We were shouting home today’s winner, it’s not very often they don’t get caught👍😁

Wonder how long Ganna can keep the Pink Jersey? Bet he didn't expect to still have it after 3 stages.

So do a lot of benefit claimants although I think it's direct to the bank these days.

Hi TDA, Think Belgium are doing OK for riders without claiming a Dutchman!!

Yes most annoying, someone must have pressed the wrong button. Although I doubt we will be able to get Quest once we move away from Inverness today and across to the west coast, so will just have to check what is happening online.

Het is OK TDA, je hoeft geen sorry te zeggen!
Yes last night did have me thinking that, as usual, it must be me!
Nice to realise it wasn’t but still disappointing.

Steve L comments are akin to those who tour abroad and can’t get some TV channels!

I’ve only seen the highlights, but it looked like a very exciting finish to today’s stage. Well done Egan Bernal on the gravel !

    🙂

😂 Really ABM. I have come to the conclusion she doesn’t have a dresser or a mirror. It’s quite entertaining wondering what she might be wearing next. Started off in trainers and sports trousers, last night was some sort of escort agency outfit😂 Off one shoulder, and skirt split to her thighs, killer 👠.

Makes you realise just how big Brad is when you see him now. Very tall for a road cyclist.

Finish was brilliant yesterday, unusual up that gravel, well done Bernel.

Good day for Bora team yesterday, reminded me of Cav’s old HTH Columbia team, doing all the right things for their sprinter, and then Peter Sagan pulling off the perfect end victory. Little bit of luck, as another sprinter failed to follow his lead man in the last couple of hundred metres, but a good end result for Bora’s day long efforts.

Another big day for Bernal, and reading the reports it was a great team performance that have him the chance to extend his lead and open up a decent gap to the rest of the GC  contenders.

Yes very good day. I just wish the commentary included a bit more about the scenery, mind it is only the highlights I suppose.

Dont get caught out, Tour de France starts a bit earlier this year, late June👍

A "comfortable" win for Bernal in the end. A great team effort all round by Ineos, with multiple stage wins, the team prize, and the pink and white jersey for Bernal. Simon Yates got close after his stage win, but couldn't quite get there in the end.

Great win for Simon Yates today in the time trial 🙂
Unusual route in Budapest, short, steep and twisty. Challenging to say the least!

It certainly was as it's not his favoured discipline. Ben Tulett is also going well at the moment in his first Grand Tour, finishing 5th today and lying 6th overall. Early days yet though.

Another stage victory for a Brit today with Mark Cavendish winning the sprint finish. Great to see that he is back in the event after a gap of 9 yrs. This was his 16th stage victory at the Giro.

There's some decent sprinters in the Giro so it's great to see the old codger can still cut the mustard.

What do you mean old codger, he's only 36, just a whipper snapper, albeit a very speedy onewink

It was a fantastic win. I couldn’t believe how he held off the other sprinters for so long. 👍

Shame he couldn't manage a repeat today, the last hill did for him and Caleb Ewan too. Afraid Demare came out tops in the sprint today.
