Just because an advert is in Club Mag/website doesn’t mean the particular product can be used on Club Sites. It’s about money, advertising revenue, first and foremost. Bear this in mind, utilise some common sense and it soon becomes clear what might or might not be a good purchase if Club Sites are your main stays.
A simple home modified bit of pipe, of much longer length, and not flexible, taken into a hedge bottom is allowed on a lot of CLs. Best used just for shower/handwash water. Washing up greasy water with any large bits doesn’t go down our drains, keeps things a lot nicer and free flowing. Prevention being easier than cure……😁👍

Practically every CL I've ever been on have said "In the hedge". I have 7m of flexi-pipe which I can move about a bit to spread the discharge. I just have to pitch sufficiently close to a thirsty bit of foliage. Don't forget folks, we are talking a bit of soapy water here, not nuclear waste. Anyone remember government guidance from 1976?

Don’t disagree, but it’s about scale and concentrations. On a CL with a few vans it ain’t going to add up to much, but in larger, busier settings it could reach problem proportions. Unfortunately it isn’t just soapy water, there’s a fair bit of vegetable oil & animal fats disposed of via grey water.
In 1976 it was single households disposing of waste water, not inviting all the neighbours round to chuck it in your hedge as well!

That’s why I mentioned common sense…….always ask, don’t take things for granted.
And just shower/ handwash water, similar to what you might collect in a water butt at home and put on the garden. Not pot wash, clothes wash, bbq wash that will contain nasties and stink👍

Apart from the debate about the usage of this product, I never buy from organisations who do not give an address of their company on the contacts page and rely simply on an email address or telephone number.
Given that it is a company that is a "family business that has been running for over 50 years, selling a range of products from furniture to caravan parts" why can't I find any other reference to them on the internet?

I fell for this, some time ago when I bought a doggy-related product via an ad on Facebook (never again). It looked OK - the address of the company was in Norfolk - albeit a private house and the telephone number tallied with that area. When the item hadn't arrived after a couple of weeks, I rang the number and after a few weird noises on the line I got through to an answerphone with an American voice recorded. A bit of further research then showed that the so-called British company was actually based in the States. The item eventually turned up - having tracked it all the way from its source in China. Needless to say it was rubbish and something I could have bought locally for a fiver instead of the £20 I parted with. Once bitten..........!

When I started caravanning, over 40 years ago, many of us used devices like this one on rallies. I'm not sure what they were filled with but we used to rinse them through with the hose after use.
Interestingly I was on a CL last week when the owner asked if I could direct waste grey waste on to the base of his hedge.

We have been using this system for 2 years never had a problem ( not on c&m sites )
if you follow the user instructions we think its great .
