That is just so funny. And sadly sums up many folks impression of caravanning.

We have a van even older than that one…….with tales all of its own!😁

The earlier ones were the funniest I thought.😄

It ends tomorrow morning - pity.

I thought it was the script for a new comedysmile

THE HAMMOCK IS INCLUDED had me in chuckles.

It is being sold for charity I think, so 👏👏 to the seller, and to anyone who eventually buys it.
As for £2100 being overpriced…………….I just mull over £25-30k heading back to the dealers for a fix. 😁 It’s not a bad price in todays inflated second hand market, especially if you can DIY a lot of things.

Loads of vans, much older than that are being lovingly restored and enjoyed. It’s how vanning used to be, and is how a good number are still getting into it, away from the glossy, shiny World of the CC.

So it has just sold for £2100.  Think I may have to rethink the value of my 2009 caravan!

The Royal Tourer is a vey heavy caravan and real quality. I bet many modern cars or 4x4 vehicles would struggle with it's weight. The little Safari is also a little heavyweight.

Are we sure the seller isn't an author trying out ideas for a new book? It's a great read!
