12v failure
Can anyone help? I seem to have lost most of the 12v system in my 2007 Coachman pastiche 520. The water pump is working, as is the voltmeter on the control panel (reading 14v when connected to Ehu and 13.5 disconnected). The motor mover is also working fine. I have checked all the 12v fuses and they all seem to be intact. I'm totally confused. Am I missing something blatantly obvious. 1000 thank you's if you can point me in the right direction.
Simon Lockhart.

Items not working are ; lights, tv antenna, radio, roof fan, hob igniter and awning light. The only working items are the water pump and voltmeter. The motor mover also works but this is isolated from the 12v circuit when in operation. (The WC is manual flush so not an issue).

Not familiar with the 12V electrics in a coachman. It sounds like there is a problem with one of the 12v feeds to the distribution/ fuse box or grouped returns to the battery. you will really need a test meter to diagnose properly. you could first check if any thicker cables around the fuse box appear a bit lose. Occasionly a blade type fuse that appears intact can have gone open circuit, that has happened to me in the past. hope you are able to find the fault witout having to pull a lot of wireing about.

Thanks everyone for your help. Took Colin's advice and attacked the caravan with a multimeter. Turns out the PCB inside the fusebox is cooked. Unfortunately these boards are now obsolete but a replacement is available that can be adapted. It's been ordered so fingers crossed.

Hi Simon,
Sorry to hear that your PCB is faulty, they're not cheap!
I wonder if I could make a cheeky request to have your defunct pcb.
I would like one to trace the internal circuit to help diagnose problems in the future. It doesn't need to be working.
I'm happy to pay carriage costs and a bit towards your replacement.
If it's possible, you can email me at petecoedial at a certain google owned domain and I'll exchange details.
Pete
