Crikey
But surely worth it for all that extra space and individuality that many CL users appreciate that you spoke of?
Your post makes it sound that maybe cost is also a factor to you Mikey?

Cost doesn't really come into any of my purchases, what I always look for is value for money.
Looking at the adjacent site prices I definitely do not consider that Peak Period on a Non electric pitch could be considerd good value at £28 per night.

Good try, but really your Crikey was aimed at the £28? as simply as you posted.
But yesterday you said that it was space and individuality that many liked about CL's, but for you it's now VFM? In which case you'll find cheaper club sites to get that VFM

Well I for one wouldn't pay that to stay on a club site, let alone a CL. With the amount of touring we do it is way outside of our budget. I'm sure I would be able to find a CL reasonably close by that would suit our needs and for a lot lower price.

The CL in Cheshire, Winterley, is a good example of why it's always wise to check prices before booking. It's headline price is £18, however, it does also state that:
The prices will differ through the season. For exact price of stay please contact the CL directly.
It reminded me of a recent thread about CL prices, at least this CL is being honest about the fact prices vary through the year, but it's the first time I've ever seen that on a CL, normally prices stay the same through the year.
Maybe a change of tactics, to see what people are prepared to pay?

We know it well PD. All run from the pub I think, certainly the two original pitching areas are, and I think the cottages. Note the price for a MH/ Campervan stopover.
Edit, CL and CS run from pub, the cottages are next door and the MH CL is with cottages. All are nice, good location.0 -
This is in fact not a new CL, but one that has been renamed formally being 42 Hassel Road and reopened.

I know it's a bit late but I've been updating my S.D. which was temporarily lost.
Maddie, can you clarify if Oaktree Farm, Northwich has or doesn't have EHU. The latest magazine shows it as having some but the website says it hasn't. Mind you I'll not be stopping there looking at the photos whichever is the case but others might fancy it. Thanks.

Is
Llysaeron
Hermon Road, Crymych, Pembrokeshire, SA41 3QUa new CL?
It isnt in the book, is on the website, but with no reviews at all. But I cant find it on the New CLs lists for last year, or in the recent magazines. Unless I've missed it.
It might be useful for us in a visit to Pembrokeshire we are planning, but would like to try and get a bit more info before phoning them.
Thanks

Looks like a brand new one to me, as I've no record of a listing for it, and I religiously update my SD with the updates from Maddie and the club magazine.

The last update to this thread was in November.
I know the CL team is busy, underfunded, underesourced and overworked, but it now being March and Members looking for updates on the network, perhaps an update on additions & deletions through December/January and Februrary could be added?
Thank you Team

Perhaps it's just symptomatic of the regard that those at HO give to CLs in general.
2 -
That could be correct, ocsid, but why then hasn't Maddie not introduced a new thread for the 2022 updates? We are now over 3 months into the year!!
Doubt that you will get a response now from HO, WN. Typical really!😞

Hi All
Sorry for being MIA on here, we have been extremely busy Certificating our existing sites as well as opening/closing others.
I have started a new thread for 2022 which will be a sticky soon. I will do my best to answer your questions on here as well.
Thanks
Maddie
