Hi Everyone!

I’m sure this has been posted before but a search didn’t bring anything up.

So we took up caravanning last year (like a lot of people) and bought a 21yr old van with no thrills.

Well, we liked it and have now upgraded.

Our new (newer than 21yrs ago) has come with a TV bracket fitted.

Question is, I have no idea what I need to actually fit a TV onto it. (Please see attached images

Any advice is appreciated

It looks as if you need a slot in plate that attaches to the TV and slots into the bracket. I assume you have checked that its not been put in a drawer somewhere? It would be about six inches square. Its possible the previous owner has forgotten to remove it from his TV? You could do a search online to see if you can find that bracket, perhaps you can buy the TV back plate separately?

Looking at your picture I would think that the TV that was fitted still has the other half of the bracket attached , as it seems to be a detachable type, bracket to enable the TV to be removed when travelling

Unless you are in contact with the previous owner I would not see a method of using the pictured bracket

It looks the type of fitting used by ‘Vision Plus’ who specialise in those type of products for the caravan/motorhome market. By no means sure tho’.
