Delay in DVLA sending documents - Patterdale

Sadly DVLA haven’t sent the documents we need to use our van next week  at Patterdale CL. Over three months waiting….

    Just curious as to what DVLA documents you need. Is this the V5 or a driving licence? If its an extended registration period it is unlikely that you would need those in any circumstances I can think of in the UK. Likewise with a driving licence, providing you are entitled to drive that revenue weight it is unlikely you would need to show it to anyone. Perhaps I have misunderstood?

    Can't be driving licence surely 🤔 I've just had mine renewed & returned within 10 working days. 👍

    If it is your driving licence you don't have to wait for it to be returned.
