new caravan leaks

i recently had to swap a 2016 lunar clubman because the large skylight leaked and i was told it was beyond repair. As 2nd hand caravans were no longer available (2021) i bit the bullet and purchased a new swift fairway 480, (May 2021). imagine my dismay when in October it developed a leak from the curved front skylight

it is now January 2022 and it still has not been repaired however, i have had a date for February 2022. 

is this a common fault? does anyone else have this problem with new caravans?

i am really starting to be turned off caravanning.

    You will find similar comments about cracked/leaking panorama rooflights on the discussion forum. It's certainly not an unheard of occurrence.
