I’m not very good at this, we simply haven’t been to enough Club Sites😂

I've not stayed there either but the landscape and flora is certainly reminiscent of that area.

Try this one.... a busy site, but it was in the height of summer. If my memory serves me correctly, at one time there was a 'boules court', but I think it has now been removed... unless we were looking in the wrong place. 😃 On this part of the site the pitches are very slightly 'terraced'...

Yes KjellNN you are right!
Cae Mawr.picture taken after walking along the footpath through the lovely little wood at the side, which is a picture in spring when it’s full of wood anenomes, and a delight to the eyes and ears when the song thrushes are on form.
Find it hard to understand people who want more sites in cities!

DSB, is that Freshwater East?

Here’s another beautiful rural site.
But what’s its name????
Gwern y Bwlch

Yes... well done RedKite... I thought that might have been quite difficult. Was it the boules court comment that gave it away?
The first time we went we were given a discount voucher for the pub at the top of the road - the Hare & Hounds..

Hi DSB no I just saw the photo and knew where the service pitches are but do remember the boules pitch area, OH says I have a photographic memory as I remember some of our photos and where they are OH does not but I am not good with IT like he is.
Cornersteady is that in the Lake District?

We have been there too, it did look a little familiar, but did not know about the boules court.
It was very busy when we were there in June last year, not a very attractive site with the rows of vans as per the photo, but a nice area.
We were on the first serviced pitch on the right, possibly the one just out of sight on the photo. It was rather small for our van.

Nobody has attempted a guess at the site picture we posted on page 28, so we will assume nobody knows.
It’s Gwern y Bwlch! A real ‘away from it all’ site, yet convenient for the attractions of the Dyfi estuary, with the beautiful little seaside town of Aberdovey not far away, and shopping etc in Machynlleth.
Lots of nature on site, walks straight off the site, red kites etc. A gem.0 -
I can't remember if anyone got this one? If you did I'm sorry I didn't spot it.
The gravel is unique in my wanderings on club sites, perhaps it's by appointment?
I'll give the answer tomorrow if not?
