We were wondering if anyone has recommendations for smartphone apps which tell you about pubs & restaurants that allow you to stay in their car parks overnight if you buy a meal & drinks? Looking at sites for bookings but often certain dates are unavailable so could go to pub or restaurant instead for those dates. 'Park4Night' is one which was mentioned when we did a search. Does anyone know if it's the best one or have any experience of using other similar apps? Thanks. Iain.

    I use >Searchforsites<. There is a small charge for the App but its free on the web. They also have a >Facebook page< .If you intend to to use pubs frequently you might find it worthwhile joining >Britstops< I found Britstops more suited to the owner with the smaller motorhome/campervan

    Try this link from Moonfruit which shows pub stops and other stopping points, aires, new CAMPRA stops etc

    Having done a few, simple rule check with Pub they are actually on the scheme, found some great sites amazed so often just us overnight, research is key, plan and enjoy

    www.pitchup.com is a good general site for finding a variety of places including pub sites and "nearly wild" sites etc. I've recently booked a small site in the north via pitch up.
