Just a 'heads up' as I received notification today regarding a brake line retaining clip not fixed correctly.

This non-conformity could cause the brake lines to touch other mechanical parts.

I have a Oct '19 registered vehicle.

I think you can check online via: www.fiatprofessional.co.uk entering your chassis number & the reference above - 6255

Hope this helps.

Merry Christmas to All & stay safe, again.....

We had that on our March 2019 registered vehicle but it was almost two years ago. Perhaps they have decided it affected more vehicles  than they first thought.

Could be it is more serious than they First recalled them for and they are just now targeting those chassis numbers that are not shown on their records of being attended to by their dealers or as is expected Fix It Again Tomorrowsurprised

That sounds familiar….I remember having something like that checked on recall a couple of years back on my 2018 van.

Interesting responses.... obviously I've been allowed to drive around for 2 years with a 'potential' risk surprised

No doubt COVID & 'furlough' will play their part in any defence!!

I hope my post makes folk aware & they make their own checks as previously suggested.

Cheers, Kasspa. You seem to have been missed along the way.

I had a similar recall on my 2017 Peugeot but the check revealed all was well and I regularly check our current 2021 Fiat against the DVSA recall list and it's not popped up yet.

Seems these are the offending clips, I think the recall dates back to January 2020.

    Update:

I called the Fiat Professional Dealership that done it's 1st 'Low Mileage' Service in September & they advised me that it was done as part of the service checks.

    It's what they do....!

However, I only have their word as there is nothing recorded on the invoice.
