Serviced Pitches
Are all CAMC serviced pitches the same layout and size? trying to determine what length of waste pipe and fresh water hose I need.

Unfortunately, no.
Over the years we have found that some have the bollard at a corner of the pitch, some at the back in the middle, some much further back, some half way between 2 adjacent pitches, and some have the drain separate from the bollard.
Pitch sizes vary.
We carry about 25m of water hose, 6m of rigid drain pipe with assorted bends and joins, and 6m of flexible pipe.

I carry two 'flat pack' blue hoses which take up little space and will cover all pitches you're likely to come across when linked together. For waste I used to carry the same but it's quite bulky though lightweight. I now have three rigid domestic pipes that lay along the bottom of the outside locker and a few meters of waste hose that can be linked together with domestic push fit pieces.

I bought 2x3m lengths of the rigid stuff, cut one into 2 pieces and one into 3 pieces, that pretty much covers any length required, and lives in the bottom of the front locker. Also made some X shaped wooden stands which can be set at varying heights, to support the pipes and give a good fall to the drain

we also use the ridged plastic pipe cut to different lengths plus push on connectors straight, 90 and 135 deg. and supported by a set of 3 Velcro straps (ebay) that slide into draft skirt rail, you need to buy the food grade hose ours is as mentioned the blue flat type 25 mtrs long which is easy to stow away normally the water taps are between the two pitches and the grey waste in the middle of the pitch at the rear. Hopefully we won't need to book these again now we are able to book a hardstanding

I have about 20m of food grade blue hose, cut into three varying lengths - with joiners - and this covers all the situations I have come across. I also have a 4-way tap splitter which I use on CLs etc which may have a conveniently placed water tap and it allows me to plumb in and others to do likewise if they so wish.
With regard to waste hose, I have tried the 'curly snake', and the rigid pipe but both are a pain to store, so I switched over to the Colapz system a couple of years ago and have 8m of pipes which live in their own draw-string bag which I keep permanently in the van. I also got the 'tent peg' supports to assist in getting a good fall on the pipe. They are so strong that they work just as well on a hardstanding as they do on grass.
An expensive solution, I know - but so convenient.

Another vote for the Colapz system. We also have 8 metres and have so far only needed to use 6 metres. Also very good on the odd occasion where it is not possible to get the MH onto a service point. Worth every penny.
As K mentions, there is a large variety of layouts. However on the newer CAMC service pitches, the standard layout seems to be everything in the back left hand corner. Which can lead to longer runs, if you put your van in front / hitch first, or if you’ve a continental style MH like ourselves.
