What the cheapest way of keeping the motorhome aired over winter - using fuel/diesel or plugging into electric?

Also what's a good temperature to set at??

Newbie Motorhomers if you hadn't guessed 😉

Sass, you had a caravan prior to getting the MH. Why not do the same as you did with the caravan?

Thank you so much for your help really appreciate it

Tinwheeler I've never owned a caravan. We had a T5 but that was in use all the time as a van.

You’re welcome but that’s really odd as your profile shows posts made as a caravanner. If there’s a mix up, I suggest you contact the Community Manager.

Thanks for the tip off Tinwheeler. Not sure why it was saying we were caravaners hopefully sorted now 👍

Tap on your avatar by your post and you will see there are posts going back years as a caravanner🤷🏻‍♂️

Here’s a screenshot of one and I suggest you contact Rowena if it’s not you. Very odd.

Hi Has anyone experience of Alde heating & Alde heating with underfloor heating is one better than other?
Looking for any difference in heat up times & running costs as energy prices are rising need to know if going to cost arm&leg on gas as used off grid mostly

We have Alde with underfloor heating.   On gas it gets the van nice and warm, but it does eat the gas.  This time of year I can get close to using 6kg over a weekend.   Make Safefill a real boon.
