Following on from a post made on another thread please read the information from Calor about potential malfunction of valves on 4.5 KG Butane Gas bottles to see if it applies to you.

    Is that company suddenly being run by a bunch of amateurs?

    No 6KG Propane bottles available for the past year or so and now dodgy valves.

    Should I go over to another supplier of gas in the hope of getting what I need?

    rip off calor & they have a shortage of bottles, faulty valves

    I am so pleased I went to safefill about 5 years ago

    The only thing in Calor's favour is its ubiquity. Everything else is a downside.
