Split front grab handles on a 2017 Sprite Major

Can any body help please?

The front offside grab handle on my Sprite Major has split top to bottom and has water in it. Has anybody replaced these? A threaded nut is visible inside the new handle indicating the fixing bolt comes from the inside the van but a panel behind it appears part of the structure?

    We are on our 2nd set of handles for discolouration on a 2 year old Swift, apparently there is a recall on them but I don’t know from which model year, might be worth a call to your dealer and see if your van is in the affected range, nothing ventured nothing gained.

    Thank you for your reply. Apparently the grab handles come under 'parts and fittings' -not the body shell - so is under warranty for only 3 years.
