Saddened to see that two 'Men of News'  Bill Turnbull & George Alagiah are stepping back from their presenting duties On BBC News and Classic.Fm  due to the stress of fighting cancer in it's various forms.

 

Brian wishes them both a speedy and full recovery.

    Yes, it’s a long haul for a lot of folks, sadly too many don’t make it. Haven’t seen much of Bill Turnbull in recent times, but George Alagiah, the consummate professional, has been very much in evidence until recently. I went to an event he chaired some time ago and a nicer man you’ll never meet.

    Bill T  has been doing a music programme on Classic.FM for some time now in between  giving us the latest, up to date, advice on beekeeping of course  wink
