Anyone had caravan tap problems following the use of a Floe Touring Caravan Drainage kit. (Uses car tyre pressure pump to blow excess water from system after drainage of system)

Bought one for use with our Cadiz when we had it, never any problems. However, less convinced of its usefulness. Although it removed a lot of water if used straight after draining down, most of that would be shaken out on the the journey home, if all valves and taps are left open.

    Thanks SteveL.

Problem I have at the minute is I'm on a seasonal pitch due to a house move and will not be able to travel with the caravan for a winter month or three.

So travelling with open taps and drain valve not an option. Just wondered if the 15 psi pressure required, was kind to the caravan taps as they can be delicate creatures and expensive to mend if damaged.

Until last year I had only ever blown through the taps by mouth before laying the van up for thw winter. As you I'm not convinced of the necessity but did last year use a similar method to the following video which costs nothing.

    Here

Not sure why the video starts towards the end, rewind towards the beginning.

I just open all the taps  remove the shower head and blow down the pipe
