I passed it on Monday on our way south .... I guessed that it was on its way home from a show rather than a car to be used while on site.
A very nice looking little car .... just highlights how big modern cars are.

We have sen a few classics while on the road last couple of days. A very nice Austin Healy, and a nice P5b. Travelling through Cotswolds, you always see a few, two very nice E Types, and an XK150. However, the “ruddy hell” moment was a Bugatti😯

No, it was bright red. We weren’t that far from Highgrove either......😁

There was a huge car show in Gloucester on Saturday so it could have been en-route there or back. I think it's an Austin Opal, the saloon was called a Ruby (I had two of those). I always fancied the Nippy, a little 2-seater tourer. My dream outfit would be a motorhome with a Nippy on the trailer - Dream on Geoff!

Gloucester was the general area I saw it so you're probably right. It was on the Bank Holiday Monday so it's likely it was on it's was home. Was also passed by a beautiful Bristol 406S (I searched its reg ) ... again such a little car compared with today's cars.

In the last two years when I was at school Our science teacher bought an old Austin seven saloon (ruby?),which was kept in an old shed in the school grounds, ,We completely took it apart and it was to be refurbished ,unfortunately it was still just a rolling chassis , with the body hanging from the roof of the shed when I left ,so have never found out if it is still in bits or a runner, as I moved away
