North Yorkshire TV transmitter down
The Bilsdale TV transmitter serving North Yorkshire and Middlesbrough area is down indefinitely after a fire. It still shows up on my Antenna Mate app. Bring your DVDs.

My Mum can get transmissions usually via the Bilsdale Beacon, we used to watch news from up there. It’s quite a bleak location for getting it sorted out, middle of moorland.

Television in the caravan, and i thought you were old school, lots of board games, cribbage, dominoes, darts outside just to annoy the neighbours, no we dont have a telly well not in use, last seen for William & Kate's wedding, now residing under a bunk somewhere, really must have a clear out

Yes, it's an inconvenience for many - not just for the loss of tv channels, but no radio either for the forseeable. The old cracklemaster wireless is redundant at the moment and having to listen to radio via the laptop! It's not the same quality and it's all nonsense. Ah well, time for another 78

I use this site to show me where to aim my aerial. Some of the other transmitters seem to overlap on coverage:- https://ukfree.tv/maps/freeview
