Caravan owner in Cornwall seeking advice on awning
Hi everyone
We recently bought a 2004 Bessaccarr Cameo 495sl,and are busy getting it serviced / checked etc before getting on the road with our two medium size dogs.
Our thoughts are now with a porch awning for all seasons. What would you recommend ,we don’t want a air type. Looking at Dorema Davos 4 as it looks a good shape for us. Height: To fit caravans from 235-255 cm in height,Depth: 200 cm. We plan to use it as much as possible as we are travelling around.
We haven’t had a caravan for many years so it would be great to have advice. Thanks Liana

You say you plan on travelling around so something quick and easy to put up and take down should be a consideration. As you do not want an air awning and a porch awning size would suffice I would suggest something for a camper van. Only problem would be the all seasons bit.
How about starting with looking at Vango and Dorema websites?

The 495 was a nice van.
We don't have many dealers in Cornwall but there are one or two where you can view awnings. Scorrier springs to mind. It's better to see them erected to help you choose.
