Should be 'broadcast' live on The Planning Inspectorate youtube web site:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQqDetL1R5aRgbNm8PDViNw
and in perpetuity or until YT is taken down.
Can be entertaining watching.

I think it was yesterday according to the letter waiting for me when I got home. It think it started at 10.00am just as we were leaving our last site for home!!!

There is no recording on U-Tube as yet but I have had a look at some of the evidence and rebutles offered and it looks like approval will all revolve around the flood risks and whether the Club's Flood Evacuation plan is accepted. I would think it will be ruled in the Club's favour.

And has been for many, many months!

At least the Club have some hard evidence on flood evacuation plans with it's experience of the York site. To me, but I am not a professional, I would have thought it difficult for local objections to counter that, but who knows?

Does anyone local have any knowledge of how often the existing site has been flooded in the years the club have had it?
I hope it gets permission. I enjoyed the site when we stayed there on our one and only occasion a couple of years ago and it made a grand winter site.

I think the Baltic Wharf site is much higher than the location of the new site so I imagine flooding was never really a problem?

The history of flooding is available to view, it's rare but has happened. The Baltic Wharf site is alongside the floating harbour designed to keep water levels static, controlled by sluice gates etc.. However behind Baltic Wharf and running past the proposed new site is the river Avon which connects straight out to the Bristol Channel with one of the highest tidal ranges in the world (it doesn't look that impressive with heavy mud banks at low tide.) But there is a possibility of a flood if there's a specific set of circumstances eg very high tide, severe rainfall etc.
BUT! There is a railway line that BCC hope to re-open just behind the proposed site on the river side, Bristol to Portishead, maybe some eco style plans there and it all seems a bit illogical with that also on the planning table.
I'm only slightly knowlegeable about this because I have family in central Bristol.
