Just watching the BBC evening news, and it seems that today is “Thank You Day”.

Clips of street parties, etc..🙂🍾🙂

Now, I know I’m probably a bit out of touch, but this is the first I’ve heard of this.

Maybe, I’m not invited, but a walk round the “hood” today and there wasn’t a street, or any other party in sight.

Any CT people celebrating” Thank You Day” ?
🙂🙂🙂

Like you I never knew it existed. Another import from across the pond?

    Probably.

    And it’s on the 4th of July….

    Coincidence, maybe…

I think it a purely UK thing, see here https://thankyouday.org.uk/about/

Try Perthshire. It’s a UK thing for the right reasons, just badly publicised. If it gets traction it could be big.
