Hi,

I have just updated my Avtex 1 and all the UK club and CL sites are no longer showing.

Did the update via Garmin Express (as always have), so didn't knowingly do anything different.

Is it just me getting it wrong or have CAMC removed them?

TIA.

The same happened to me a week or so back. I was also at a loss as I had needed to put a micro sd card in to increase memory and thought this the issue.

I made sure Express was up to date and reloaded. All is now fine.

I have just found the same problem of only certficated CAMC sites being searchable.  I am confused by eriba's response - does updating the Garmin express app then re-updating maps solve the problem, or not?

It did for me. When I originally updated my Tourer satnav I had no UK sites. I updated Garmin Express on my PC and started Tourer satnav update again. My Tourer then had all sites on it.

Exactly the same has just happened to us. Clearly either the map or the software change has caused it and I can't see a way to reverse it.

SO DISSAPOINTING! I hope that someone investigates and corrects it! I suspect it will happen to everyone.

We have Avtex Tourer One 770.

Great bit of advice, Colin - I have just installed Garmin Express, connected the Avtex unit via USB. From the Garmin software I told it to reinstall the MAP (when it says your map/software is up to date, click on Map and you can opt to reinstall it)

The result was all the Club Site information and options re-appeared.

So in conclusion it appears that installing the map updates over wifi caused the club icons to disappear, but performing the reinstall of the map over USB via laptop reinstated them.

Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem!

I for one will be updating the Avtex Sat Nav via USB in the future.

I've just installed updates over USB connected to a PC and still lost the UK Club Sites.  Re-installing the MAP as recommended worked.
