“…….Finally, a new colour – Lanzarote Grey – has been introduced as a colour at launch, which says Fiat has been introduced to emphasise the “adventurous spirit of the New Ducato and specifically dedicated to clients from the recreational sector”.…..”

Presumably we like motorhomes that match our hair colour….who writes this stuff? 🤪

Can’t help thinking all that new technology is a huge bill waiting to happen!

Interesting they say increasing competition. from the Boxer? Looking at UK conversions the Boxer which is built in the same factory is the most used, and Ford and now the Vauxhall base vehicles are also making quite big inroads in the PVC markets even selling direct from the dealers

Although the instruments are apparently digital, they look like digital representations of there analogue equivalent. Although the pictures are not that clear. Hopefully they will be easier to read than the current Speedo. I would have preferred to have seen some nice large figures, that could be changed to Kms for over there. Rather like I get on my sat nav display.

I’ll second that, have never been able to read my speedo in the gloom under the dash binnacle on current model, although there does seem to be a number of variations out there. I resorted to a dash mounted GPS speedo to avoid speeding fines! It can’t be that difficult to make functional instruments. Also, is it just me or is red illumination just the worst at night?

I always use the GPS one on my sat nav, as particularly if a bright day I can’t make anything out. Mine came with daytime back lighting, which I don’t think the first ones did, but it isn’t of much use except in dull conditions. I can’t really comment on night time use as I try an avoid it. The only time I have driven it in full darkness was putting it on the ferry, returning in October 2019.

perhaps my driving position is slightly different to some but i dont have too much of an issue with the dials. although i am also a GPS/satnav user for reading speed so perhaps not so important.

i also have the 'back lighting on' mod which makes things a bit better.

How on earth have they got Lanzarote Grey as a new colour ?

After 35 years of visiting the island many times, the last thing I would associate with Lanzarote is it being grey.

Volcanic red and black - certainly, verdant green with a startling blue sky - yes, contrasting white buildings with blue or green woodwork - usually, but grey - NEVER.
