Hi all, I’m currently booked at Southport caravan club site in July and I know that when we have friends staying with us it costs per adult per night extra. What I’m not sure of is they will be arriving in there car so it there a charge for the additional car and as my pitch will have our car, caravan & Awning do they just park in car park at reception.

The club do list a price for an extra car as £2. They are rarely allowed however, there just isn’t sufficient room. Certainly in your case your pitch will be full. Additional cars can be left in the car park. We have never been charged for this.

According to the access statement there are six car parking bays near reception,(no charge.)

you are normally allowed on site with the visitors car to off load and load,if staying ,but it is Good manners to advise the site staff of your intentions not just take the visitors car on sitewink

There are 6 spaces opposite reception but also a few more (7/8) just on the right after the entrance.

They'll be booked in as staying guests in the member's unit so not 'visitors' as such.

Hi, yes it’s family members which we have booked two extra adults to stay with us in our caravan. Just was not sure if there was a charge for a second car which will need to park in the car park if any.

I would ring the site and ask, there may be certain pitches where it's allowed, not that you can reserve them though.

Second cars have, as a general rule at Southport, been parked on the car park and I think the idea of not permitting a second car on a pitch is to reduce the impact for other people around.

Yes I know and have often paid it, but as Steve says it is sometimes allowed sometimes not allowed, so hence my there may be certain pitches where it's allowed .
