Hi I just wondered if anyone  new how to remove rear light cluster on abbey gts 215 2008 as I seem to be getting the dreaded water ingress around where the plastic meets the rear panel and do not want break any clips etc by being to heavy handed

many thanks

Peter

I've got an Abbey Vogue 2007 and the rear light cluster is held by 4 expanding rawlplug rubber grommet screw fastenings. If they are tightly fastened, I'd be surprised if that's the source of the ingress.

    Hi cyberyacht

thanks for your input I wonder if we have same lights as the only visible screws only hold the lens covers on mine has two round lights and a large reflector fitted to a grey panel and then the back panel and it here that it appears
to be loose letting water in to back and running down to floor at the corner

Hi thanks for all the previous replies I have only just managed to access

the forum again for some reason I was locked out

I have a newer van now Swift 480 challenger 2012 does anyone know how long Swift stock major parts for.In the event of an accident occurring and body panels needing replacement

I was just reading small print on insurance renewal quote and if parts are unavailable it seems you may not in some circumstances get your pride and joy repaired  and only receive the last known price of the part plus fitting. Which  is not much help if you cannot use it without the repair being completed

I am interested in others experiences of this or similar issues

See the Front Locker Door Elddis thread just down the page, Peter, as it's a similar theme.
