The club are making a big thing of the re opening of sites saying they are Covid secure.

This morning the site I'm on had no hand sanitizer in the dispenser at one of the CEP points. This was reported to the warden. So you wouldn't expect to find the same thing some time later at another dispenser, this time at the dust bin point. The number of times the wardens have been round the site you wouldn't expect that to happen.

Pleased to say I have plenty of my own.

I go into plenty of places that have these dispensers but I always use my own anyway.

On the other hand it shows that it is being used by your fellow campers!

    Can't complain about that!!!

Interesting comment about hand sanitisers, as I thought the same the club site where we are ,tried two with what I thought was no saniitiser but have since found it is a gel so,   ,needs a good push on the dispenser to release the thick gel   wink

I have my own bottle of sanitiser, as many other places seem not to have dispensersundecided

well, that means they were full at some point so unless someone is drinking the stuff for the alcohol (I've tried - it doesn't appear to work) so somebody did use them.

Of course maybe they were never filled in the first place...

I do not believe that some members  need training on how to extract sanitizer gel from a dispenser wink

Maybe some folks are 'refilling' their own bottles from those provided on site.  tongue-out

JillwithaJay You had the same thoughts as me. I know many years ago on a site that the staff were getting fed up with filling the older style hand soap dispensers only to find that folks were refilling their own bottles as 1 couple were caught in the act.

We have friends over here who run a b&b and they have had guests filling up their own bottles from their soap dispensers and hand sanitisers last year so not just club sites.

Surely as adults we should take responsibility of our own actions.

We were at BK last week a members only site, and I witnessed on more than one occasion members filling their own bottles from the points around site. I must add the warden team are doing a fantastic job on this site.

Hi everyone, just to let you know our site team check on them twice a day and when doing walk arounds. However, if members let the site teams know they are empty and this happens on a frequent basis, we will look to put 2 in one location.

Thankyou , we have been on two sites and on both It has been noticed the site staff checking dispensers and sanitising service points more than once or they do it once at different times each daywink

What on earth is the matter with these people?

I must admit if I saw that I'd just go outside and call them a thief. I HATE THIEVES.

Edit - Actually I might just follow them back to their pitch, inform the wardens and then call them a thief.

If caught I hope the club cancels their membership instantly.
