So its official now or is it the local press The Ayrshire Post  dated 13/06/2018 states in an article that Ayr Craigie Gardens will close in in the year 20.20

Strangely the club has not mentioned this, why the lack of communication to its members so come on club is it true   cry

    The Club have responded to the question of the closure of Craigie Gardens here, see Rochelle's comment.

    On a wider point I would have thought that in current circumstances, demand for housing etc, no leased campsite was safe from possible development?  Perhaps the reason why the last two additions to the network have been purchased outright.

    I’m here in 2021.  Can’t see the site would ever close, they can’t cut all these well established  trees down and Scottish tourist board would be up in arms.

    Never mind the council have provided 15 dedicated motorhome overnight parking spots on the sea front instead so all is not lost.
