Can anyone help with the best route to Ludham CC site from Manchester. The A52/A17  or the A47?. Any help very much appreciated. Cheers CJ

If you are coming down the M6 to the M1 you carry onto the A14 (at the end of the M6) which is dual carriageway to Thrapston. From there you could take the A605 to Peterborough and pick up the A47 there. At Kings Lynn take the A148 To Fakenham and then the A1067 to the start of the new Northern Norwich bypass (A1270). Leave the bypass onto the A1151 to Wroxham and A1062 to Ludham?

Have you looked at the route finder facility on UK sites page? to Norfolk Broads site (Ludham Bridge of old)

We stayed on the site a few weeks ago, travelling from Pendle area.

We picked up the M62, then the A1 / A1M, to Newark. Then the A17 to Kings Lyn, A47 to the South of Norwich, then followed the directions in the Club’s website.

Not sure if this is the best route, quite slow after Newark, but we got there!

It’s a lovely site, some brilliant birding nearby, enjoy! 🙂🙂🙂
