Crocs! 🐊🌴

I love crocs and croc type shoes. They may look naff but I don't particularly care although I only usually wear them at home or when I am in the M/H. They are so comfy and oddly enough, keep my feet far warmer in winter than slippers do, even the ones without the "wooly" lining. They didn't stop selling them in various shops so they can't have gone out of fashion that much.

I got a new pair of bright yellow crocs this year via Amazon at a good price I do have the alternatives but they do not wear as well as crocs and I wear them as slippers more comfortable also have got a pair of professional ones with a solid front and the soles and non slip very useful, will be taking some slip on crocs for use in the showers on club sites later in the year.

I got mine years ago from a proper "croc" shop at the Mall, Cribbs Causeway. I felt I'd entered a parallel universe. I didn't realise there were fashions with all the little stud poppers on them. So I quickly bought a pair and rushed out. They are comfortable, I'd refused to buy any previously. They live in the van full time.

I’ve never owned a pair😁 I worked as a lifeguard as a student, pool side, easily shaken off footwear of choice was always Scholls.

I've a pair of purple ones, with the solid fronts, which I wear at home in place of slippers, and take in the van for general trotting round the van, both inside and out. Will certainly miss them and have to get replacements when these go to the great Croc graveyard in the sky.

Mine live in the van and are well used!
We don’t wear shoes in the van and something that’s easy to put on/off is a plus however, they stay on in the shower, on pebbly beaches, in the kayak and I can go days without wearing anything else.Indeed in Italy a few years ago, sitting by the pool, I was concerned seeing blotches on my feet, till I realised it was tanning from the holes in the Crocs!

Both myself and OH have Crocs, we’re on site in Norfolk now and both pairs are outside the ‘van as always.
We were once given a bit of friendly banter, on a site, for having genuine Crocs , rather than the ubiquitous fakes. Accused of being posh! If only.....🙂🙂🙂

The fakes are nasty & dangerous I’d not give them house room P☹️. The real thing have great grip, fit well & are comfortable & safe. Posh? No you are someone who knows good when you see it👍🏻. I’ve had them for a very long time & they’ve hardly gone up in price over the years👍🏻

I bought my first pair of genuine Crocs when they first came on the market here - purple ones. I've since bought several more pairs in various colours as I find them ultra comfortable to wear. They're great for wearing in the showers and around a swimming pool. They're difficult to wear out.

One of my points too J👍🏻. I pay around £35/£40 mostly I have 3 pairs right now in varying degrees of age. Yet all are still reliable for water borne sports with good grip due to the fact they’re not cheap & nasty(dangerous too) plastic.

I've got a pair of cheapo copies which tuck into a slot in the van door. For inside the van, I have 'proper' slippers.

No one's mentioned socks yet.......😋

I have heard of ‘no show’ rules around pools but thought it was related to wearing speedos!!!

Absolutely not!
Chris Evans was having a discussion about them on Virgin Radio today - some of the responses were hilarious 😂🤣
