Heki skylight

Hi all 

I have just joined and wanted sone advice 

we bought a Cristal moored 530tf and it has a crack in the skylight 

is it possible to repair the crack as this model  is now obsolete 

we are fairly new to caravaning so would appreciate any advice

    No, not really if you want it to look invisible. They are acrylic which is difficult to bond. You need to chemically bond with solvent, it can be done but doesnt look pretty. Acrylic solvent glues are available.

    Even though your van is not in production they tend to use standard rooflights. If you establish the make and size it should be possible to find a replacement acrylic piece or if not fit an appropriate replacement new cassette.  

    Most caravans are a big bag of standard bits assembled by the manufacturer.

    There's always Araldite. Not invisible but close enough.
