2021 Sites Directory Price Supplement

In January I ordered a price supplement to go with the new directory. I used 'Live Chat' to do this and was told It was going to print and would be delivered when available. As yet I haven't received it.

Has anyone who asked for one received theirs yet?

    Ordered in Jan but not yet arrived , I was "advised?" by call centre staff member that my name ,had been "put on the list" (dads armysurprised)for dispatch

    As there is still not an electronic copy available in the club shop, it would suggest it hasn’t been compiled yet, let alone printed. However, as the posted prices are fairly meaningless due to variable vat rates until the end of March 2022. Perhaps they have decided not to bother.

    Steve, if the club have decided not to bother then they could have announced it. (couldn't they wink.)

    I also ordered in January. here are are a third of the way through the year and apart from online, we still don't know how much it costs to stay at a club site. Disgraceful.Maybe it's part of a "cunning plan" to reduce demand as people might be reluctant to go through the process of booking without knowing costs. Perhaps an Email to Nick Lomas is called for.

    If it is, I don’t think it is likely to work, so just like one of Baldricks.😂
    Unless folk are booking on the telephone, which I suspect are very few, I don’t see the problem. The prices are there in infinite detail, just as they would be in a hard copy supplement. Some maths is required to arrive at a nightly price, but that would be the case if you were reading them in a booklet. Plus you are given the overall price before you press commit and complete the booking process. Even then you can cancel and walk away with no penalty.

    We have decided not to bother with ordering a copy. Prices are all over the place at the moment, and seeing the end total for a booking is enough for us. You know you will pay less on arrival due to the VAT, so that’s a bonus. We have already changed one Club Site booking because of the price, but that had nothing to do with having the price supplement, we just found something we preferred at two thirds off😁

    I'm due to go away for a month next weekend. Whilst away I will be planning for the other holidays throughout the year. I won't have internet whilst away but I will have my sites directory. That will describe the site, location and route but only a 'from price'. That's why the supplement will be of help to me. I'm not bothered about having to recalculate the cost.

    Hi

    While I also like a paper price list it won't bother me if it doesn't come at all. I use the original and best way to research and probably book, more so now with vat changing regularly. I pick up the phone and call the site I'm interested in, only costs a couple of minutes of time and you get up to the minute pricing. No need for a smart phone or internet.

    Just asked my question on 'Live Chat'

    Answer: "We have decided not to send them out this year as most of the staff are working from home".

    Another decision taken and not announced.

    I've just had an auto acknowledgement to my Email so far. Anyone know Nick Lomas's E Mail as I feel I'm going to be needing it.

    From new information, it seems as though new members are receiving a price supplement in with the sites directory. So they are available to send out to some but not others. Odd!

    Perhaps the numbers involved are more manageable. Although if one exists it does not explain why it has not been made available in PDF.
