Engine Battery Peugeot Boxer 2.2
My MH is in a lock up, so unable to just walk out and check easily. Just visited today and found the engine battery is deceased. The battery is 019. However, trying to find a replacement is proving a little troublesome. I've checked a local motor factors website. Having put in her Reg, I get several choices, all different! Checked Ebay and again put in Peugeot Boxer 2.2, battery 109 and get incompatible with my vehicle, even though advertised battery is 019.
So, now I'm confused.
my model is a Bailey Autograph 540. Based on a Peugeot Boxer 2.2 Diesel (i don't have the manual at home, so cannot say what sub type of engine).
Anyone have a Boxer base and know what I need please? Dimensions would be useful if possible.

I'd have thought that the criteria for any engine battery are:-
1. Dimensions
2. Capacity
3. CCA
Provided the numbers are OK, any battery would be OK IMHO.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, she's locked up 10 miles from home. I didn't have a tape measure with me when I found out this morning. I was rather hoping someone on the forum would know. failing this, I will take a tape measure.

It's simply. Follow this link: Tayna (019 Batteries). I would strongly recommend that you purchase an EFB battery. It's your choice of manufacturer but Tayna's own Enduroline are good. Tayna is a very reliable company and will deliver fast. Hope this helps.
PS Just a bit of added info. The Renault, Peugeot, and Fiat trucks used for MH are basically all the same.

I don't dispute that errors do occur but I know the size and number of the batteries used in those vehicles. In any event the OP mentioned the battery number - 019 - which is as listed. The slightly less powerful 017 will also fit as it is physically the same size.

What would I do? Would phone local Peugeot garage, give them the reg number, ask them to order a suitable battery, then meet me at the storage yard when it arrives.....and fit it.
