Well, it is not for the first time JVB has posted incorrect information and now he cannot add up and is saying the staff are informed differently to that of members and what the accounts of the Club actually say.
My patience ran out. and as its virtual pub night tonight that is my last words on the subject for today and perhaps for a while because I have a motorhome to mod and prepare for the summer.

Don’t know/ don’t care/ life's too short to pursue the question of which club has a higher % of pitch take up. There are no relevant concrete facts apparent here.

In your second paragraph when comparing the two major pitch suppliers to LVs, just proves you are just guessing at what the costs are when assessing each clubs finances and how they are run, which when reading it proves you have no idea of how the figures for each clubs staffing levels and finaces are reached

so why do you think the C&CC is more profitable if it is not down to deposits and better site occupancy?
You've lost on that explanation with so many contradictions in it but no matter PD. I've given some possible reasons but, and this is the part you appear to not understand, it doesn't matter which is more profitable, but perhaps quality costs more? I've rather have better sites than a club with more profits.
But either way who cares? Does it really matter to people who use either club? Only you appear to care and appear to be suggesting that the CCC does it better as they have more profit, which is just nonsense in my view.

Now there is a contradiction if ever I saw one. You cannot afford quality, site upgrades and new sites without having a profit to plough back into these things.
So where is my post contradictory Corners?

You posed the question TW
.....or could it be a measure of people preferring the CAMC sites to C&CC offerings? We'll never know. Nor will we ever know which club ultimately filled the most pitches on the night.
All I did was present a hypothesis from the evidence to hand.

No, you talked at length about profit which, as I previously explained, is not the same thing. I stand by my statement of there being no relevant facts forthcoming and I'm now stopping bashing my head against a brick wall.

I think we will have to disagree TW, I standby my hypothesis but I do agree to stop bashing heads against a brick wall. Best let other readers decide for themselves. There is plenty of evidence around to help in the AGM minutes and accounts of both Clubs for those with the time and interest.

And another contradiction right there. When I posted that point as to why the club has less profits due to the fact they were putting their profits to achieve these things you said that was incorrect?
In any case that wasn't the 'quality' I was talking about as I'm sure you well know PD.
In the past week or so, for some reason PD, you have been pushing the idea that the CCC does things far better than the CAMC. There was the 'battle' of the magazines and how the CCC was far bigger/more articles, how people 'aren't happy' at the decision of the club regarding it's closing of facilities with a picture of a unknown booking page, how you'll be reporting back if that site fills up, through to site occupancy is better at the CCC, and now profits are better at the CCC. I would guess you like the CCC better and that is great. But why try and convert or educate the rest of us to your thinking?
Again who cares? Just use both clubs and enjoy them?

I think people will just use both clubs as it suits them and will hardly care less about club accounts?

No toilet block will be the reason. Nunnykirk is our favourite club site, usually visit every year. Lots of room, peaceful (no mobile signal on site)
Three of our grandchildren learnt to ride bikes there and the other two probably would have if it hadn’t been closed last year. Split into three areas. Handy for NT at Cragside and Wallington.
