Did anyone see the latest club idea, posted on FB this morning, for Dog Membership Cards. Wonder if this is an indication that they are going to charge for dogs, and other pets, from next year?wink

Dont do Facebook but that’s even more obvious than the article about a bronze statue of DC at Barnard Castle, in the Telegraph.😂

I liked the one in the newspaper this morning that visitors to Cornwall will have to learn some basic Cornish language, such as how to order a pastie or scones etc., before being allowed to book their holiday. I'm sure a few of our Cornish members might very well agree but be careful what you asked for if venturing into one of the other Celtic regions.smile

Indeed and many of us are keen to spread phrases such as "Leun a sylli yw ow skath bargesi". One never knows when it might come in useful.

    Pask Lowen, everyone.   (Easter Greetings)

I'm sure this could be a nice litter earner for the club. Members for a small fee could upload a pic of their pooch to be printed on their own membership cards? £1 a card?

Actually that would let the wardens know they have a dog with them so no need to ask anymore therefore enabling quicker and faster booking in times.

Post edit: I fear I may have been 'dogist' in the above and to avoid discrimination against  any other pet of course this should be amended to a pic of any pets the member has. Apologies.

In all our time as members the only time a warden has mentioned dogs to us while booking in was to say if we had dogs the dog walk was closed for safety reasons ( wet and very slippery )
