Communal facilities and pitch fees

Will the C&MC being making a statement about pitch fees given the unfortunate restrictions being imposed by the UK Government that communal areas will be closed until at least the 17th May? Obviously there are some sites that have no such facilities (ie. no Toilet block) and the Pitch fees are considerably less than the other sites.

You may wish to wade through this thread here https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-together/discussions/sites-touring/uk-sites-touring/amenity-blocks-closed-until-17th-may/ which in part covers your question. The Club has at no point indicated that it will reduce fees whilst facility blocks are closed. You will of course still be able to benefit from the reduction in VAT during that time. With the COVID VAT reduction there was no requirement, by the Government, for the reduction to be passed onto customers as it was designed to be an extra support for the businesses concerned but the Club did.

    Hi

While using an open forum like this can be very useful / helpful, I think your question can only garner peoples opinions, and maybe start arguments. DK above has quoted another thread where you can see what has been discussed.  I think you need to address your question with the powers that be to receive an official answer
