Hi. I am looking to change my car from a 2.0lt diesel Ford Kuga 140PS, It is a fine tow car and I haven't had any issues however its a 2014 so looking at other alternatives and would like something min 2018. I currently have a Sprite Major 6 TD with an MTPLM of 1480. Im not too bothered about hitting the 85 % match can go to 90 %. Thinking about a petrol as well as I believe there will be higher and higher taxes levied on diesels soon. I am quite liking some of the estates out there at the moment as I also need a good family car that can fit the odd wardrobe in now and then. Just after a few opinions really, do some of you go higher match but more BHP or is it all about the kerbweight. Currently do a few UK trips a year then look to do France where ill probably cover 1500 - 2000 miles.

Skoda Kodiaq, 2.0L 4x4 looks good on Whattowcar website.

I seem to recall seeing posts about some models of E class estates not being type approved for towbar. It might be worth checking out in advance.
