Will site prices be reduced no facilities
Will the site prices be reduced the week beginning the 12 April due to no facilities open.
I have noticed a lot of cancellation on Broadway and the price for for April is extremely high in April.
Moderator Comment - In this thread https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-together/discussions/sites-touring/uk-sites-touring/latest-government-information-and-our-club-sites/?er=P725126#P725126 the Community Manager mentioned sites being open in Wales with facilities remaining closed. There was no mention of a price reduction so I think we have to assume that it won't happen unless told differently. It is probably the case that as members will be using their own facilities the electricity consumption on site will increase? I have closed this thread because there are too many people taking it off topic.

Don't forget that built into the cost will be an element of the capital cost to provide the facilities block even though little to no daily running costs are envolved. I guess as a fair comparison you could compare a facilities site to one without any. The difference is about £14p.n.and I don't think it unreasonable to expect some of that £14 to still be charged but not all.

Fortunately, none of us are forced to use club sites.

They may not all be registered for VAT.

Classic example of CL v Club Site. We had MinM booked for 5 nights in July. Cost £181. No idea if facility blocks will be open, but we have found a CL, same dates, saved ourselves £121. Only difference is no hook up, but as we are only on pitch between 8pm and 9.30am, so happy to be untethered during July. Suits us fine.

Yes my thoughts exactly. The price will be what it will be, you can either pay it or go somewhere else.

You do exaggerate, dt, there are a few, not lots, that are over £20, and an odd one over £30, but they are certainly in the minority. By far the most of those with EHU are priced in the range of £12 to £18 range.

I hope it made you very happy to make that inane post, ED.
"Both form a duo" - one person could not form a duo so the word "both" becomes redundant.
Now, is there any other wisecrack you'd like to share with us in an effort to garner a few more likes?🤪

You don't know that, JVB. It could well be that the Gov have decided not to relax sanctions as far as the opening of toilet blocks but let sites continue to stay open.

Don’t look in the sites directory look online a lot of the £12 ones have the price from dates like 2016, when you phone and ask the price you will find it is over £20 I should know I have phoned lots. You will be surprised how many are jumping on the staycation bandwagon. And there are more than 1 over £30.

are we having grammar lessons now? ... the two of you could form a duo ... is that betterer?
Likes? I never post to get likes .... but having received 3 for my last 'wisecrack' goes to show that others do agree with the suggestion of a duo/partnership!
As for being happy .... no, not really ..... just stating the obvious

There are many obvious moves posters make on this forum and you are not exempt. However, most of us are too polite to spell out.

So this is DT, well known sceptic about anything to do with CL’s, teaching Nellie to suck eggs🤣🤣🤣
