Hi everyone,

Our first camping trip this year in our trailer tent is to Alderstead Heath. To say we are all excited is an understatement!

Although Alderstead Heath isn't all that far from where we live (we didn't want to go too far for our first trip) I don't actually know the area that well and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for things to do? Ideally we would like walks nearby, places to visit and any nearby farm shops or tea rooms?

Many thanks. smile

Hever Castle, great water maze for children. Take dry clothes 😉. Plus a hedge maze.

I can understand the recommendation for dry clothes where a toddler is concerned but the latter item might cause storage problems.

Rowena,If you get a nice day,Box Hill makes for a good day out.especially for its views.

There is also a lovely woodland walk directly opposite reception, which has WW2 history, ideal to spend an hour or so to wear the little one out.

I am sure I can remember more!
