Our caravan has a rear window in the full width rear "bathroom" and when towing the partion door is kept open which gives us a clear view to the rear ,

Outside showers are great for cleaning off muddy dogs and wellies after a walk before going inside the motorhome. So a good accessory for me but maybe not if you don't have a dog.

but you might as well clean your boots/dog directly at the tap rather than the shower that you'd then have to go and get more water for

Elaine says much the same about me; except she makes a spelling mistake regularly; 'Who could ask for anything less?'.

Not her fault that less is an anagram of else ...undecided

Our main accessory would be the motor mover when we bought our current van we got it as part of the show deal. Don’t often use it on site as I’m pretty good at reversing but when getting the van on to the drive it’s great as we live at the end of a cul de sac so can be a bit tight if there are cars parked in the street also the vans “space” on the drive is close to a wall so the mover is great for moving it in to position . Next on the list would be the Cadac which we wouldn’t be without now use it most of the time when away. Thirdly would be the bike rack we bought for the roof of the Volvo means we can take the bikes away without having to put them in the van while travelling.

    In no particular order:

Bradcot Aspire Air awning - for longer stays.

    Motor mover.

Dorema Monaco sun canopy - for shorter stays. Lightweight and simple to put up.

Dometic Air Windbreak 5 - in concert with sun canopy provides a sheltered area for those lazy hot summer days. Also used at home in the garden.

Safefill gas bottle - used with caravan and fire pit table in the garden at home and to use the Cadac at home and away.

    Cadac Cari Chef

LED projector and screen for watching movies against the caravan exterior wall c/w Bose portable speaker.

Made up pipe system for grey waste on serviced / CL pitches.

    Truma Ultraflow water connection system.

Steady winder adaptor for battery drill.

Tool for aligning 13 pin plug.

Reading this thread, I’m not surprised some folks struggle with weight when touring, and I now know why it can take half a day for some folks to get set up😂 Love it. Not a criticism, folks tour how they want to, take whatever gives them pleasure. (I like a few balls of wool handy, lucky it’s lightweight)

Those little washers look great. Had we still been doing our month plus away in caravan, I think we would have got one👍

It's just occurred to me, thinking way back what made the life easier.

The roller water carrier is absolutely the best accessory, better that lugging a 5 gallon can or teetering it on a trolley #1 the aquaroll

Just to qualify that claim as a caravanned who doesn't do service pitches ( I know the day will come)

I remember being amazed one year in Spain when a caravan was brought to site by the storage company, owners arrived from England and proceeded to empty said van. Last thing out was a full size Mangle. surprised Fortunately storage area just down the road but they must have brought it from somewhere.

I wouldn't mind but the site we were staying on is the only site I've stayed on that provides a Mangle, attached to a wall, for guests usage.

I don't think that it would be considerate of me to hog the water tap whilst cleaning two dogs and potentially leaving the surrounding area wet and muddy. How we enjoy our hobby is an individual choice and one of my best accessories is an outdoor shower.

Gas-low refillable system (filler on side of caravan)

Cordless Power drill, corner steadies and 8 inch coach screws

    Cadac gas BBQ

    Decent chairs

Spin Drier (longer trips only: wife loves it)

2 off 8 foot foldable tables (very cheap but great on site)

Jormax WIndbreak (Superb bit of kit)

Smartphone with unlimited data plan (Wifi Hotspot including tv)

13 pin alignment tool (£3: lent out several times each season)

Edit: nearly forgot. Kojack twin axle levelling system (replaced cr*p alko one).

Pick-up truck (ok not really an accessory but with a 1.1 ton payload boy does it swallow a lot of camping gear)
