Evening
I've worked at our club site at Looe (St. Martins) in 2013 and last year 2020. Had a quick look in the park that's nearby and was on the tv last night in both years. No thanks. Just my opinion and I appreciate everyone's different in their holiday needs and wants but to me it shows me why our club sites and similar others are so popular

Imagine a fly on the wall documentary on a club site.
This morning site staff are mowing, the early arrivals orbiting to find the optimal pitch with subsequent manoeuvring antics. This afternoon the site staff are mowing, awnings efficiently erected. This evening, the site staff are mowing, barbecues sizzle into life.
😉 Just how I like it!

Ha
Sounds just like my site, 11 acres of grass and just me to do it!

Cheese does go well with a large glass of red Brian!

"It's 10.45 am and here standing cross legged, outside the toilet block, towel and wash bag in hand, we find Emily and Mary, waiting patiently for the facilities to reopen. While Assistant Site Manager, John, rattles noisily along on his little orange tractor dragging two large wheely bins behind."

As well as Tencreek and the Club site there are 36 others within ten miles of Looe , so something for most tastes.

Just watched the programme. Just reinforces why we don't go to certain types of sites in the school holiday!!! Also makes me appreciate the Club sites.

Unfortunately, David, I can't see the series getting any better - I get the impression it will be more of the same. The thing that I find sad, is that it could quite easily give the impression that all camp sites are like this - you know what folk are like! Anyhow, I think I will still watch it - probably for the entertainment value!

Well the opening shots of the facilities last night made feel very queasy and then it was burgers all the way which had a similar effect!
Thank goodness the two families who normally went abroad liked Looe...I don't think it's doing much for the industry so far.

JVB, it shows every day type of events rather than totally made up entertainment, so sadly it's more real than a trumped up "reality" show. I expect there has been some judicious editing and a few carefully managed bits like the boat trip.
