    Evening

    I've worked at our club site at Looe (St. Martins) in 2013 and last year 2020. Had a quick look in the park that's nearby and was on the tv last night in both years. No thanks. Just my opinion and I appreciate everyone's different in their holiday needs and wants but to me it shows me why our club sites and similar others are so popularlaughing

    Imagine a fly on the wall documentary on a club site.

    This morning site staff are mowing, the early arrivals orbiting to find the optimal pitch with subsequent manoeuvring antics. This afternoon the site staff are mowing, awnings efficiently erected. This evening, the site staff are mowing, barbecues sizzle into life.

    😉 Just how I like it!

While Assistant Site Manager, John, rattles noisily along on his little orange tractor dragging two large wheely bins behind."

    As well as Tencreek and the Club site there are 36 others within ten miles of Looe , so something for most tastes.

    Thank goodness noone has mentioned CL's in this programme. Just imagine if some of them discovered our hidden secret hideaways?!! surprised

    Just watched the programme. Just reinforces why we don't go to certain types of sites in the school holiday!!!  Also makes me appreciate the Club sites.

    Unfortunately, David, I can't  see the series getting any better - I get the impression it will be more of the same.  The thing that I find sad, is that it could quite easily give the impression that all camp sites are like this - you know what folk are like!  Anyhow, I think I will still watch it - probably for the entertainment value!

    Both sites are now on my list of ones to avoid, but will probably still watch the programmes out of morbid curiosity.

    Well the opening shots of the facilities last night made feel very queasy and then it was burgers all the way which had a similar effect! 

    Thank goodness the two families who normally went abroad liked Looe...I don't think it's doing much for the industry so far.

    Then as posted before ,if it was shown as is normal site use it would not make for an "interesting" programme ,for what seems modern day viewers? 

    Love island?

    Naked attraction?

    JVB, it shows every day type of events rather than totally made up entertainment, so sadly it's more real than a trumped up "reality" show. I expect there has been some judicious editing and a few carefully managed bits like the boat trip.

    ...didn't see it last night.... watched the Celebrity Musicals programme and then Carol wanted to watch Midsommer Murders.  It was on record anyway, so I'll have a delightful hour catching up later.  No need to worry about 'spoilers'.. 😃😃
