    I wonder if it will only be available in van form rather than a cab because of the batteries? With the larger battery pack it would seem to add an extra £30000 to the standard PVC? In time these prices will fall I expect. It has to come but it will be interesting watching how things develop. As Confucius is rumoured to have said "May you live in interesting times"!!!!

    If that is converted to a Motorhome I would think the price would be eye watering.

    The vauxhall vevaro ev is already being lined up by a UK  campervan converter

    Probably a minimum of £70/80000? There are lots of current van conversions available now with prices starting at between £40/50000 although many are more than this. I suppose it will depend on how quickly advances in battery technology have an impact on lower prices. But whichever way you look at them they will be more expensive than the same thing with a diesel engine in!

    And the rest. Add the larger battery to get the 230 mile(?!!) range and the base vehicle is £80K. Any MoHo is going to be north of £100K and a top speed of 62mph.undecided  Cruise at its max speed and  journeys of any distance, as your range won't be 230 miles, is going to take some time.

    Having seen the Mercedes EV vans used by Amazon and with Opal and Fiat doing similar, it is only a matter of time before EV camper vans become common. No Hybrids appearing, so it's going to be a complete change. If the Euro 7 proposal goes ahead the days of diesel camper vans and even hybrid caravan tow cars are really limited.

    As posted before, the highest miles per charge is at the lowest speeds the higher the speed the less MPC

    A number of delivery fleets are adopting electric vans but it’s rather early days to be thinking of fully electric 3.5 tonne plus motorhomes with long range capability, however, it is interesting to think about whether such a vehicle would have purely electric habitation services. All EVs have a 12volt system and battery which could be enhanced to provide heating, cooking etc. and no need for gas. Interesting times!
