Have you considered what might happen on a dull cloudy day or if you're pitched under trees? Just a thought.

I am taking it that he has a pacemaker and the monitor records the info.
I was offered a monitor as I have a pacemaker, but when discussing it with the pacemaker team, they downloaded an app on my phone (which runs all the time in the background ) then once a year the text me and I hit the download button and they have all12 months pacemaker monitoring in a few seconds.so may it’s worth a chat with your husbands cardiology team

I'm not sure on OP's device but my OH has an ICD, pacemaker with built in defibrillator, fitted with a monitor that needs plugged into the mains. Don't suppose it draws much electricity. His was fitted 2019, and due to recovery and Covid we've not been away other than 3 nights away for sons wedding 10 days after fitting! Its constantly monitored by the hospital and it's registered a couple of blips - so doing its job.
An App on your phone sounds good, but you need to carry a phone 🤐
I do hope the OP comes back and posts their findings.

There's insufficient information to provide realistic answers. What is the current draw? Does the equipment convert to lower voltage DC? Have they got a lithium battery? All of these could impact the solution.
