Not sure if this has been seen but it is a tour of the Bailey production in Bristol. Part 1 deals with the construction of the side, floor and roof panels. Part 2 shows the construction of the actual caravans from scratch.

    I would have been interested to see the motorhome production at Bailey as I am now on my second one but I assume the process, apart from the cab and chassis is similar.

    Yes, we watched both on the TV and interesting it was. I know use of power tools speed the installation of fixings, but it also explains the stripped wood threads and sheared screws in the making of my caravan.

    Perhaps it needs to be more like the motor industry and assembled by robots.
