Transit tow weights

HI I have a 2007 Transit 2.2 FWD SW 280 with the 130 engine, does any one have any idea of the  max tow weight for a caravan I could tow please?

    Blimey that was quick, thank you. Where did you source that from I've been looking for a while, perhaps not very well though?

    You can usually find a plate on the A  or B pillar drivers side that shows weights. Max vehicle, max train, and max axle loads.

    Just type in Towcar it is a free matching service used by caravaners, just filling the boxed and it does it all for you, giving you performance figures etc, it allows you to compare different vehicles and caravans.

    eribaMotters suggestion is still the best because the figures on the weight plate are 100% reliable and they are the ones that the powers-that-be would use. Data published by a third party may be erroneous.
